About Monroe County Court Docket

Monroe County court dockets and case records are divided among the Wisconsin Circuit Court, the Monroe County Clerk of Circuit Court, and separate municipal courts. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access provides the statewide public case-summary route. This private reference resource organizes those official paths so readers can identify the right portal, office, address, or phone number without confusing a public summary with the court's official file.

Why We Built This Site

Wisconsin permits broad public access to many court records, subject to court rules and lawful restrictions. The harder task is identifying the custodian. The Monroe County Clerk of Circuit Court records filings, settings, judgments, and other case events for the county's three circuit branches. Municipal clerks keep their own ordinance dockets. Wisconsin Circuit Court Access, known as WCCA, offers public case summaries but does not serve filed document images. The site brings these distinctions, official contacts, request methods, and case-number conventions into one local reference.

What You Will Find Here

  • Record requests: steps for obtaining court records, plain copies, and certified copies from the clerk
  • Case lookups: routes for a case search by number or party name in WCCA
  • Docket references: local detail for Monroe County criminal dockets and civil dockets
  • Hearings and settings: ways to read the court calendar and verify a date with the court

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site with no connection to the Wisconsin Court System, Monroe County, the Clerk of Circuit Court, or any government agency. Its role has firm limits:

  • No certified docket, order, or filed paper can be issued here
  • No case can be removed, changed, sealed, or redacted through this site
  • Legal advice and case-specific interpretation are not provided
  • An official case file or docket sheet cannot be retrieved for a visitor
  • Only the court can set, move, or confirm a hearing date
  • Current fees, settings, phones, and procedures must be checked with the official office

An official or certified docket or record must come from the Monroe County Clerk of Circuit Court, the responsible municipal clerk, or the court that holds it. This resource can identify the office, but it cannot supply the document.

Search Partners

Third-party providers operate search boxes shown on some pages. Each provider controls its service, results, terms, and prices. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may generate a referral fee that supports free access to this resource. We neither set partner charges nor decide which records their systems return.
